Rebecca Quin, aka Becky Lynch, was born on January 30, 1987, in Limerick. She grew up with her brother in the Dublin suburb of Baldoyle after their parents got separated when she was one year old.

Independent Circuit
Rebecca Knox went to SuperGirls Wrestling of Canada an all-female offshoot of Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW). There she defeated Miss Chevius at an ECCW show on June 24, to become the inaugural SuperGirls Champion.
Before losing the title to Lisa Moretti in April 2006, she successfully defended the title against many wrestlers. After the time spends on ECCW, she joined All Pro Wrestling (APW) and participated in APW’s third ChickFight tournament in Hayward, California.
In June 2006, Rebecca became World Queens of Chaos Champion after defeating Sweet Saraya for the vacant championship title.
World Wrestling Entertainment
Quin joined World Wrestling Entertainment in April 2013, signing for a two-year developmental contract. She was assigned to Florida developmental territory NXT where her ring name was changed to Becky Lynch.
She made her ring debut on June 26, 2014, defeating Summer Rae. Lynch then feuded with Charlotte Flair losing three matches in a row against her. Becky then participated in a fatal four-way match for the NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley and Charlotte.
Becky Lynch won the triple threat match and got the chance for winning NXT Women’s Championship title against Sasha Banks. She, unfortunately, she lost the match but debuted into a new look resembling Magic: The Gathering Character Chandra Nalaar.
