World Championship Wrestling (1996 – 2002)
Before joining the professional wrestling career, he was a powerlifter and mixed martial artist with an amazing fitness body. He was then spotted by Lex Luger and Sting, who advised him for a professional wrestling career.
Goldberg started to train at the WCW Power Plant and improved his skill in fighting. Bill appeared on five matches during the dark match, where he defeated Buddy Lee Parker, Buddy Landell, Hugh Morrus, Chip Minton, and John Betcha.
Undefeated Streak
Goldberg soon became the important wrestler on WCW after a consecutive win on dark matches. His undefeated streak began to grow, where he even started to win in a couple of minutes.
Bill Goldberg made his Pay-Per-View debut at Starrcade, where he won against Steve McMichael. His undefeated streak lasted for 74th consecutive matches without a loss.
He then challenged Raven for the United States Heavyweight Championship, and despite the interference from Raven’s Flock, Goldberg took the victory and won his first professional wrestling championship title.
World Wrestling Entertainment (2003 – 2004)
This 6 feet and 4 inches with 285-pound wrestler, signed a one-year contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. He feuded The Rock and delivered a spear on his debut to start the rivalry.
Goldberg had a match against The Rock and defeated him at Backlash on April 27, delivering three spears and a Jackhammer (Signature Move of Goldberg).
He then challenged Triple H for his World Heavyweight Championship title at SummerSlam along with Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, and Jericho, where Triple H pinned him.
Goldberg continued to feud against Triple H and finally won the World Heavyweight Championship title at Unforgiven, putting his career on the line. He successfully defended the title against Chris Jericho on the next night at RAW.
Triple H once issued a $100,000 bounty against Bill Goldberg, but no one was able to defeat him. On October 20, Batista defeated Goldberg interfering on the match against Shawn Michaels and injuring Goldberg’s ankle.

On April 6, 2018, WWE announced Bill Goldberg as the Hall of Famer Class of 2018. Paul Heyman announced to induct Goldberg as the proud person into the Hall of Fame.

William Scott Goldberg married Wanda Ferraton on April 10, 2005, whom he first met during the film shoot of Santa’s Slay. The couple has one son named Gage and resides in Bonsall, California.
