BLACKPINK in your area! Blinks are you ready for their new single? After a week of anticipation, it is revealed that BLACKPINK will feature pop star Selena Gomez in their new single. So, #SelPINK in your area!

After a year long hiatus, BLACKPINK is finally back and that also with a banger. ‘How You Like That,’ their latest single did exceptionally well in both South-Korean and foreign digital charts. To this date, the laid back beat and eye-catching visual packed music video has amassed 417 million views.

As if this was not enough, the four girls are making a comeback this August with their new single, followed by an album.

Likewise, last week, the popular K-pop girl group unvield the cover art for their next track and hinted a mystery artist for collabortaion. And likely, this made BLINKS to come up with many specualtions.

Despite having known about Selena’s and Blackpink collaboration, the confirmation about the collaborations sent both fandom to frenzy.

“So SO excited to announce and I have a new song coming out!” Selena Gomez announced on Tuesday, confirming the rumors on Twitter and Instagram.

Moreover, the four members, Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo also shared the news on their own Instagram.

BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga

It seems Blackpink is on the road to collaborate with powerful ladies in the pop industry. Just earlier this year, the K-pop girl group collaborated with pop icon, Lady Gaga for ‘Sour Candy.’

Furthermore, the song reached No. 1 at the end of May and danced its way to No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart in June.

Before this the four members joined forces with ‘New Rule’ singer Dua Lipa for 2018’s ‘Kiss and Makeup.’

However, it seems like this is not the end for BLACKPINK this year just yet! Yes, straying from their old tradition of ‘one song a year’ rule, YG announced the album release plan for BLACKPINK.

According to the release plan YG Entertainment publicized to fans last month, the second track will come out in August. After this their full-lenght album featuring new songs will hit the shelf in early October.
