He’s best known for his appearance as Chris Masters in WWE, where he signed a contract with WWE’s farm territory Ohio Valley Wrestling. Chris Masters is well known for his amazing finisher, “The Masterlock,” a full nelson hold.

Early Life and Childhood of Briley Pierce

Chris Masters was born in Santa Monica, California, the United States with a sibling (Roy Masters) as the only a member of his family. Sadly there is no information regarding his birth mother and father or any other relatives. His dad was Polish, and his mother was American with English ethnicity and zodiac sign of Capricorn.

He was a pure hardworking child who suffered a lot before reaching his dream of a professional wrestler. Chris Master mainly focused on his physical development as a  bodybuilder for three long years to get approved for WWE scouts.

Ultimate Pro Wrestling (2002-2003)

Chris Master was finally approved as a professional wrestler after his every day hard work of GYM to gain perfect fitness. He began his wrestling career at the age of 16 in Ultimate Pro Wrestling. He could not last long due to his injury after a year of training. Chris Master came to know that WWE recruits talents from UPW and again started to prepare his great physic to impress World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Ohio Valley Wrestling (2003 – 2005)

After his hard work and dedication, WWE approved him as a wrestler and signed an official contract in 2003, where he got to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling. He developed his fighting skills and refined his wrestling character. With his fantastic fitness structure, he was named as “The Masterpiece.”

WWE Championship Pursuits (2005 – 2006)

Chris Masters’s first-ever WWE debut was on February 21, 2005, on Raw with a negative role of wrestler where he defeated Stevie Richards. During that game, Masters broke Richard’s nose with the move “Polish Hammer.” After that game, the polish hammer became his favorite move to strike at the opponent’s chest for a win.

Slowly after many victorious wins, he introduced his full nelson hold as a Masterlock, which was unbreakable at that moment. Slowly, he was very famous for his unique finisher, “The Masterlock,” which was a submission hold which nobody could break. His opponents immediately submit after the lock is held or even passes out.

Several other professional wrestlers would challenge him to break his Masterlock, where he would be aware of those who could break his Masterlock. The first person to ever break his Masterlock was Bobby Lashley on March 20, 2006.

Independent Circuit ( 2007 – 2009)

Chris Masters had his first appearance as a wrestler on December 20, 2007, after his departure on WWE. He there won the WLW (World League Wrestling) Heavyweight Championship as his first singles title on February 9, 2008, from Keith Walker.

Mordetzky joined the independent circuit in Australia and New Zealand on April 23, 2009, where he again continued his winning strikes defeating Adam Avalanche and Rufguts in a Triple Threat match.

Return to WWE (2009 – 2011)

Chris Masters again returned to WWE on June 27, 2009, as a Masterpiece. He there faced Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) but unluckily got defeated by pinfall. In November 2009, Mordetzky began to entertain his fans as a Tony Holland-style pec dance. Masters reached his success in becoming a professional wrestler within the time of WWE.

He fought with many great wrestlers like Chavo Guerrero, Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, etc. and also participated on big matched like Survivor Series Showdown, Battle Royal, etc. After his contract end, he was released by WWE on August 5, 2011.

Return to Independent Circuit (2011 – Present)

After such a long journey from 16 to present, Chris’s masters became a wonder wrestler. In December 2011, he joined Ring Ka King promotion, a branch of India. As his unbreakable Masterlock, his determinant for wrestling also never ended. So, he continued fighting and entertaining people all over the world. He traveled to many countries and participated in different wrestling federations.

He won many different Championship in his wrestling journey as one of the great wrestlers of his time. Chris also joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in 2015 to start the new season of his wrestling journey.
