Gulak is also a former one-time CZW World Heavyweight Champion, two-time CZW World Tag Team Champion, one-time CZW Wired TV Champion, and the winner of 2005 Chris Cash Memorial Battle Royal.

Drew Gulak began his career early in 2004 at the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) Wrestling Acadamy. He had his first debut match on September 10, 2005, winning a battle royal to show a tribute to Chris Cash.
This 6 feet tall professional wrestler teamed up with Andy Summer to win CZW World Tag Team Championship two times. After disbanding the team in 2009, he again wrestled single to in the CZW Wired TV Championship, defeating Tyler Veritas.
He held the title for 429 days successfully defending against Nick Gage, Zack Sabre Jr., Rich Swann, and Sumner. On June 11, 2011, Drew lost his Wired TV Championship title to AR Fox.
On August 10, 2013, he again challenged for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship and won against Masada. After few months of championship reign, he lost the title to Biff Busick.
World Wrestling Entertainment
Drew Gulak, on May 7, 2016, went to World Wrestling Entertainment, where he defeated Tracy Williams to qualify for Cruiserweight Classic tournament. He won the first round of the tournament against Harv Sihra but was eliminated by Zack Sabre Jr.
After a long journey on WWE, he finally won his first match on the main roster on January 2, 2017, against Cedric Alexander. Gulak introduced a new gimmick with a No-Fly Zone campaign that started a feud between Gulak and Mustafa Ali.
Gulak lost the match against Mustafa Ali on two out of three falls match to end the feud. He again lost to Akira Tozawa on October 31 in the episode of 205 live.
WWE/NXT Cruiserweight Champion
Drew Gulak participated in a 16-man elimination tournament to win the cruiserweight championship title in February 2018. He won two of his beginning matches to proceed into semi-finals but lost against Mustafa Ali at semi-finals.
He then won a fatal four-way match on July 24 to become the number one contender to the Cruiserweight Championship. Gulak got a chance to win the title against Cedric Alexander but was unsuccessful once again.
Drew, for the third time, was challenging for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, where he and Tozawa became the number one contender. For the championship match between Drew Gulak, Akira Tozawa, and Nese, Gulak pinned Tozawa and won the Cruiserweight Championship.
