Jeremy Fritz, aka, Eric young the professional wrestler was born on December 14, 1979, in Florence, Ontario, Canada. Young completed his high school and soon began his training for the professional wrestler with Waldo Von Erich in Cambridge, Ontario.
Only after the 10 weeks of training with Waldo, he had his first debut match on October 14, 1998, with his friend Sean Ball. To support his career he had to subsidised his income through many other jobs like working in a pizza parlour, sand casting and manufacturing brass horse harnesses.

Eric signed a contract with TNA Wrestling on January 2004 and began with a debut match as a member of Team Canada. Young compete on World X Cup event where he defeated Jerry Lynn, Mr.Aguila and Taichi Ishikari in a ladder match.
He got his first title of NWA World Tag Team Championship with Bobby Roode by defeating Christopher Daniels and James Storm. They lost the title against America’s Most Wanted on January 16 at Final Resolution.
Young is also skilled beer drinker who won World Beer Drinking Championship title on beer drinking contest. He was the last man standing after drinking the highest amount of beer.
