Kenneth Anderson, aka, Ken Anderson is a famous professional wrestler from America who is best known for his time on World Wrestling Entertainment under the ring name “Mr. Kennedy.”

He is also a professional wrestling trainer and a ring announcer who is currently signed to National Wrestling Alliance. Kennedy is a former WWE United States Champion and the winner of 2007 Money in the Bank contract.

Kenneth Anderson was born on March 6, 1976, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, United States. Ken was the son of James Holmes and Sheryl Anderson and has one sister, Jennifer Holmes.

He lost his father because of cancer on April 13, 2006. Ken Anderson completed his study and graduated from Washinton High School in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Kenneth during his early career made his first wrestling promotion on NWA Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He was offered a contract by the TNA owner, Jeff Jarrett but the contract was broken down.

After that, he went to compete on Ted Petty Invitational tournaments but was defeated in the first round in both 2002 and 2003. Working after six years he finally signed a developmental contract with February 2005.

Anderson was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling in February 2005, where he remained six months competing and winning titles. He was soon assigned to WWE’s main roster on Velocity with the help of Paul Heyman.

During his matches, he uses to take down the microphone and performs his own ring announcement. He was renamed “Mr.Kennedy” which he announces on the microphone during the match.

Mr. Kennedy had his SmackDown debut on August 25, 2005, with a win over Funaki. His first loss on WWE was against Eddie Guerrero on the episode of SmackDown. Ken Anderson became the new United States Champion defeating Bobby Lashley and Finlay in a Triple Threat match.

Anderson was accessible to compete on 2007 Money in the Bank Ladder match defeating Sabu in an Extreme Rules match. Ken Anderson became victorious to win the 2007 Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania 23 which gave him access to challenge any world championship title in WWE until next WrestleMania.

Kenneth was married to his girlfriend Shawn Trebnick on January 9, 2008. He has got multiple tattoos on his body including a clown tattoo on his biceps which he got because he was voted “class clown” during his high school.

Anderson along with his fellow WWE alum Shawn Daivari founded The Academy professional wrestling school in 2016. He once confessed that he used steroids while performing on independent wrestling promotion.

Later he stated that those steroids were for legitimate medical reasons to treat his tore latissimus dorsi muscle in 2005.
