Nancy Kulp Death: What Did She Die Of?

That all changed after she married Charles Malcolm Dacus. Together with her husband, Kulp moved to Hollywood, California, in 1951 to work in MGM’s publicity department. However, one look at her and director George Cukor saw a potential in her as an actress.

With that suggestion, soon, Nancy began pursuing her career in acting. That same year, the late Nancy debuted as a character actress in The Model and the Marriage Broker.

From then on, Kulp appeared in numerous movies such as Shane, Sabrina; A Star is Born, Not as a Stranger, Anything Goes, Forever, Darling, Kiss Them for Me, Moon Pilot, The Patsy, The Aristocats, and many more.

Along with the divorce, Nancy was surrounded by controversy regarding her sexuality. It came after when Kulp gave an interview to homosexual activist Boze Hadleigh. The interview that took place in 1989 has a subtle hint that pointed towards her.

“As long as you reproduce my reply word for word and the question, you may use it…I’d appreciate it if you’d let me phrase the question. There is more than one way.”

To this, she added,

“Here’s how I would ask it: “Do you think that opposites attract?” My own reply would be that I’m the other sort- I find that birds of a feather flock together. That answers your question.”

Given that the interview came after her divorce with reasons, undisclosed brought tremors in the industry. Many indicated Nancy was hinting about being a lesbian.
