Shane Brandon McMahon or best known as Shane McMahon, is recognized for his time in his father’s company WWE. He is considered as one of the greatest non-wrestler to perform in high-quality matches during his youth.  Being the minor owner of WWE, he is currently a commissioner on WWE’s SmackDown and RAW brand.

Early Life and Childhood

Born on January 15, 1970, Shane is the first child of Linda McMahon and Vince McMahon. He has a younger sister named Stephanie McMahon. Under the supervision of Phil Nurse, he received the wrestling training. In 1988, Shane McMahon was graduated from Greenwich High School and later joined Roger Williams University to study media and marketing. He also got enrolled at Boston University and received a degree in 1993.

During the initial phase of their career, he worked as a referee in his father’s company. He took part in numerous jobs from the producer, announcer to wrestler, while being at WWE. In 1997, McMahon launched a website wwf.com and made several appearances as a color commentator on Sunday Night Heat. After the feud between his father and Steve Austin, he started regularly appearing in the show.

He is the fourth-generation wrestling promoter of the McMahon family. As a WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Media, he correctly handles everything from behind the scene.

In 2010, Shane resigned from WWE and became CEO of You on Demand, an entertainment service company. He voluntarily stepped down as CEO, appointing Wei Kang Liu as his successor in 2013. McMahon has also invested in Indian Larry Motorcycle Shop in Brooklyn, NY.

He rejoined WWE in 2016 as an on-screen character. As a winner of the European Championship and Hardcore Championship, the fiery wrestler surprises his fans with fantastic aerial moves in the ring. Shane McMahon’s daredevil stunts include jumping from the top of the cell to the announcer’s table in a Cell match, taking a 50-foot leap off the Titantron onto the opponent. In the year 2006, he was on the list of 50 Most Powerful Men under 42 in the annual power issue of Detail Magazine.

McMahon usually wears baseball jerseys during his matches, with the front saying, Shane O Mac. His father, Vince, mentioned that although Shane is right-handed, he often throws left-handed punches in an interview with Playboy. Shane even played a brief role in the 2002 film Rollerball.

On the 19th of July, 2017, Vincent’s son had some severe injuries in a helicopter crash. But luckily, he got saved.
