Guys, we tall you, some of these names are just too creative. The story follows the love between Benjamin Glass, a college student who has ADHD, OCD, and borderline personality and sex worker, Emma.
Likewise, the two develop a bond while working together to clear Glass’s name that could potentially expel him from college.
One of the highest-rated romance movies of 2020, it would be such a waste not to see it.
4. The Lovebirds
Issa Rae is truly keeping her name in romance genre this year, as she again stars in another titled, The Lovebirds. The romantic comedy film shows the story of a couple played by Issa and Kumail Nanjiani, who fled after witnessing a murder.
Its release was delayed due to the pandemic and was sold to Netflix. So, make sure to watch the movie right after this.
5. Happiest Season
Scheduled to be released in November of this year, Happy Seasons stars Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis. Directed by Clea DuVall, the movie follows Kristen, who plans on proposing her girlfriend.
The only thing is, her girlfriend has not come out to her conservative parents, leaving her in a difficult situation. Hopefully, we will be able to see the movie in theatres by then.
6. Ammonite
What could be better than seeing Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan together? Well, almost everything but it is undoubtedly a win in the cinematic world.
Moving on, the story follows the real-life Mary Anning, a fossil hunter who later falls in love with a young woman played by Ronan. Not the kind of romantic movies we are used to, eh!

7. Marry Me
Now, bringing in the veterans of the showbiz world, Jennifer Lopez, who will appear as a famous musician on-screen too. The story takes a sudden turn when JLO finds her fiancé (Owen Wilson) cheated on her while walking down the aisle.
The ceremony at Madison Square Garden gets chaotic when JLo marries a random guy from the crowd instead. This might be one of the romantic movies; we just have to watch.
8. The Kissing Booth
Now, another sequel of the hit movie, The Kissing Booth 2, is returning to the cinema this year. Not to spoil anything, the story will follow the book the film is based upon.

Chemical Hearts is yet another movie to be based on the novel by the same name. Written by Krystal Sutherland, the film will star Riverdale actress, Lili Reinhart as a high schooler.
