Chelsey Quaw was a resident of Saik’uz First Nation, Vanderhoof, Canada, living her life as young to the fullest and still had much more to achieve.
However, Chelsey’s life stopped at the moment she went missing in early October. She had the most amazing personality and was a loving person who loved to be among her family and friends.
Chelsey Quaw belonged to the Indigenous group of Vanderhoof, Canada, and was a social activist and media member.
Unfortunately, Quaw was found on 6 November 2023, but her soul had already her body, and only her remains were found in a wooded area on the Indigenous community’s territory.

Chelsey Quaw Missing 2023 Case: Lost Contact Since October
Chelsey Quaw was an active girl, lovable and friendly to everyone. She loved to be among her friends and often talked to family members.
However, on 11 October 2023, Quaw’s family lost contact with her. She was last seen leaving her father’s residence during the early hours of 11 October on Saik’uz First Nation near Vanderhoof.
When Chelsey Quaw’s parents came to know that their daughter had gone missing, they filed Chelsey Quaw missing case in the Vanderhoof police department.
Similarly, her family also spread the news about Chelsey Quaw missing all over the internet and sought help to locate their beloved daughter.
Not only in the internet portals, Chelsey Quaw’s parents also launched a mass search for their daughter, collaborating with the police department.
Chelsey Quaw’s family also held a press conference for the media’s attention on her daughter Chelsey Quaw missing case. So, many people knew about it, and it would be faster to find her beloved child.
The whole Saik’uz First Nation community organized scrutiny searches all over the area. Similarly, they spread the news all across Canada, suspecting that Chelsey Quaw might have gone to another city alone.
However, even after twenty twenty-five days, there was no news of Chelsey Quaw missing. Neither she was found alive nor any clues that might be direct to her were found until 6 November 2023.
On the morning of 6 November 2023, the Vanderhoof police department reported to Chelsey Quaw’s parents that the remain of their daughter was found in one of the wooded areas on the Indigenous community’s territory.
Chelsey Quaw Death And Obituary: Family Mourns The Loss
After about a month of intense search, Chelsey’s soulless body was found in a wooded area. The death of her daughter Chelsey has caused her to lose all the energy and will to live within mother Pam Heron.
However, Pam is now trying her best to send her loving daughter to eternity and rest her soul in peace.
At the press conference Chelsey’s family held on 2 November, Pam mentioned that he daughter was very loved, educated, and hardworking. Similarly, she loves her culture, and she connects with nature.
Chelsey Quaw participated actively in her society as she belonged to the indigenous community. Chelsey was always ready to work for her community and learn the culture.
But now, all the activities connected with Chelsey Quaw will remain in my memories. Now, her family is preparing for the funeral of Chelsy and is managing time, place, and other necessities and materials that help Chelsey Quaw to rest in peace.
Remembering the legacy of Chelsey Quaw, RCMP media spokesperson Madonna Saunderson offered heartfelt condolences to the family on behalf of the team.
Similarly, Mary Teegee, CSFS Executive Director of Child and Family Services, released a statement conveying letters of strength for the family.
