Authorities are concerned about Texas man Colby Richards health after he went missing from his own home early in the morning on May 24.
Colby Richards is a Texas native who lives in Spring, Texas. He is 31 years old and a father of two.
Richards has been missing since May 24 after he went out without his phone and wallet and has never returned.
When Richards’s wife, Callie, noticed that he awoke early on Friday, around 5 a.m., but did not return to their bedroom to prepare for work, she became concerned and decided to check on him.
To her surprise, she found out Colby was not at home and noticed the backyard gate open. This made her fear something was wrong, and she instantly contacted the authorities.
The engineer from Texas and part-time baseball coach is a devoted father to his 4-year-old daughter and 2year-old son.
As per his physical description, Richards stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 195 pounds, with a well-kept physique. He’s got blue eyes and dark blonde hair.

TX Man Colby Richards Health Before Missing
According to Callie, Colby’s wife, he has no known medical or mental health conditions and has never disappeared for an extended period like this.
Colby led a healthy and active lifestyle, balancing two jobs that he found fulfilling. He took great care of his physical well-being, maintained a good physique, and was content with his life overall.
Although there are speculations about his mental state following his disappearance, Callie firmly stated that Colby had never experienced any mental health issues.
Callie mentioned that Colby Richards’ health was good as he enjoyed activities like hiking and meditating in serene environments and cared for his well-being.
The search team leader, Stovall, also expressed confidence in their efforts and informed the public that it was a search and rescue mission rather than recovery.
The team firmly believes that Colby is still alive and only needs assistance to return home. The search team remains optimistic about finding him alive and well in the near future.
Has Colby Richards Been Found Yet?
Despite no information on his whereabouts, the search for the missing father of two, Colby Richards, is still ongoing. The Texas man, age 31, vanished on Friday after being last seen at his home on Musgrave Place.
Numerous search and rescue operations have been going on for a while, using techniques like vehicle canvassing, ATV searches, thermal and visual drone searches, foot searches, and horseback searches.
On Friday, Montgomery County Sheriff’s detectives reportedly found one of Colby’s Yeti tumblers along a trail near his home. However, there has not been much progress over the past four days.
Over 50 volunteers dedicated their Memorial Day to combing wooded areas and diligently searching for any clues that could lead to Colby’s discovery.
Jake Stovall, the leader of Gulf Search and Rescue, confirmed that volunteers would persistently search through the night using thermal imaging tools if necessary.
The public is urged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office with any information regarding Colby’s whereabouts. Montgomery Sheriff has shared the word with the public and requested any help possible.
His loved ones continue to hope for Colby Richards’ safe return as the inquiry into his disappearance is still ongoing.
