He was a graduate of Paynesville High School, class of 2005. He later pursued higher education at St. Cloud State University and Herberger Business School, obtaining a B.A. in information systems. Dustan worked as a data visualization consultant at Prime Therapeutics.
Dustan had various passions and interests in life. He found joy in flying drones, playing and upgrading video games, as well as building and repairing technical equipment. He took solace in playing the piano and took pride in doing yard work.
Dustan was known for his selflessness and unwavering positivity. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and had a knack for sharing jokes, constantly wearing a smile.
His vibrant personality left a lasting impression on countless lives, and everyone who knew him will deeply feel his absence.
Dustan is survived by his mother, Jane (Randy) Ringo, his father, Joseph Spanier, and his siblings: Eric Spanier, Julie Spanier, Randy (Michelle) Spanier, Lorrie (Salvadore Nuccio) Spanier, and J.P. Spanier.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Joan Markfort, paternal grandparents Joseph and Leona Spanier, and his aunt Janet Spanier. The family and all who knew Dustan are grieving the loss of a remarkable individual whose impact will never be forgotten.
According to SC Times, the mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Monday, June 26, 2023, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Foley. Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate, and burial will occur in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8:00 pm Sunday, June 25th, at the Foley Funeral Home and continue from 10 to 11:00 am at the church on Monday. The Foley Funeral Home will provide service with Dignity.
