Ethan Crumbley Case Explained
Ethan Crumbley is connected to the devastating Oxford High School shooting incident, which occurred in southeastern Michigan and led to the tragic loss of four students’ lives.
At the time of the tragic Oxford High School shooting on November 30, 2021, Crumbley was a 15-year-old, and the incident resulted in the deaths of Madisyn Baldwin, Tate Myre, Hana St. Juliana, and Justin Shilling, while seven others were injured.
Beforehand, a teacher had stumbled upon a sketch featuring a gun directed at the phrase: “The thoughts won’t stop. Help me.” The drawing also depicted a bullet alongside the message: “Blood everywhere.”
As a consequence, the parents were called to the school for a conversation regarding their teenager’s unsettling writings.
The investigator reported that James and Jennifer Crumbley refused to bring Ethan home but were advised to enroll him in counseling within 48 hours.
Subsequently, Ethan entered a school restroom, pulled the weapon, and initiated gunfire. In October 2022, Crumbley admitted guilt to all 24 charges, including murder and terrorism-related offenses.
Prior to the incident, 15-year-old Ethan had a clean disciplinary record at his school situated about 30 miles north of Detroit.
