The family of Gabby Barrett has expanded by one! With her husband Cade Foehner, the 23-year-old country musician welcomed a girl into the world on Saturday.
Gabby Barrett daughter name is Ivy Josephine Foehner. Barrett wrote on Instagram, “Our third baby arrived earth side early this morning, at home,” as the caption for a photo of her newborn’s feet.
Barrett and Foehner, 28, are already parents to two children: Augustine Boone, 15 months, and Baylah May, 2½.
Speaking with PEOPLE last year, the then-expectant mother flaunted her tummy while walking the red carpet at the first-ever People’s Choice Country Awards, which were broadcast live from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
When asked what she and her husband were most looking forward to with the arrival of baby No. 3, Barrett said, “Having another girl and another girl personality in the house.”
First, she had a daughter, then a boy, and her third child will be a girl once more. So lots of personalities in the house.
Barrett stated at the time that big sister Baylah May, who “understands it all,” is excited about her baby girl.
How Did She Meet Cade Foehner?
When both of them participated in Season 16 of American Idol in 2018, the couple got to know one another. As their friendship grew, Foehner put in a proposal in March 2019.
The couple got married on October 5, 2019, in a tiny wedding in Garrison, Texas, after a brief engagement.
Barrett’s debut album featured several compositions that were inspired by Foehner, including the number-one hit song “The Good Ones,” among others.
Barrett’s “Pick Me Up” music video and the video for Foehner’s most recent single, “Glory Days,” both included their first two kids, Augustine Boone and Baylah May.
In addition, Augustine Boone, a son, was born on October 27, 2022, and Baylah May, a daughter, on January 18, 2021, to Barrett and Foehner.
Barrett said that their young daughter was getting ready for her role as big sister even before she gave birth to their first son, Augustine.
She already has a tender side to her babies and baby dolls. She puts them to sleep all the time, even holding them in the same manner. It’s the cutest thing ever,” she said.
