Karine Esquivillon age has been a concern among netizens after learning that the 51-year-old Mari (husband), who had been lamenting about his wife’s disappearance, is the real culprit.
Karine Esquivillon, a mother of five, had been mysteriously missing from her house on Maché since March 27, 2023.
Although the investigation was ongoing with no substantial evidence, it has now been revealed that her husband had killed her with a gun.
According to information confirmed by Agence France-Presse, Michel Pialle confessed to authorities on the night of Thursday, June 15 to Friday, June 16, to killing his wife, Karine Esquivillon, and hiding her dead body in a wood near Challans.
The 51-year-old suspect had a long history of fraud and had been convicted nine times in the past. He was notably convicted guilty of fraud, forgery, use of forgeries, and counterfeiting between 1998 and 2021.

Not much is known about her personally, but it is known that she was born in 1969 in France and grew up alongside her sister, Adélaïde Esquivillon, in a caring family. Karine was 54 years old when she vanished on March 27, 2023.
Her profession and field of interest remain unknown, but she was a mother to five children and resided in Maché (Vendée) with her husband, Michel Pialle. Karine’s sudden and unexplained disappearance stirred concern within the French community, leaving many wondering about her whereabouts.
A call for witnesses was launched, describing Karine as a 1.67-meter tall woman with a slim build, black medium-length curly hair.
According to her husband, she was wearing earrings, fancy rings, a grey sweater, black pants, a coat, and a black handbag with a chain on the day of her disappearance.
Her mari, Michel Pialle, reported her disappearance six days later, claiming that Karine had voluntarily left, taking her family record book, toiletries, and clothes.
However, her daughter found this inconsistent with her cautious nature, as Karine would always inform her children of her whereabouts.
The police investigation has been unable to uncover solid leads, leaving open the possibilities of voluntary disappearance, foul play, or involvement of a family member.
A court investigation was launched on April 17 for “kidnapping and forcible confinement.”
By April 9, Karine’s phone, which was missing its SIM card, was discovered by the side of a road three kilometers from her home.
The tragic conclusion to this intriguing case came up on the night of Thursday to Friday, June 16, 2023, when Karine’s lifeless body was discovered in an area nearby her home.

Karine’s Facebook username, “Karine Pialle Esquivillon,” reflected her devotion to her husband and exemplified her love for him. Evidently, she treasured her role as a wife and valued the importance of a strong marital bond.
Prior to her sudden disappearance, Karine reached out to her eldest son, Thomas, in a heartfelt conversation. During his testimony on the “Sept à Huit TF1” television program in May, Thomas revealed that his mother often expressed a desire for a fresh start and to experience new things.
Despite this, she declined an invitation to stay at his home, opting instead to remain with her three other children. This decision highlighted Karine’s tireless dedication to her family.
In an interview following her disappearance, the 54-year-old’s daughter, Antoine, stood by her mother’s side, suggesting that something unexpected might have occurred. She also hinted towards her step-father’s role in her disappearance.
Likewise, Antoine firmly believed that her stepfather’s explanation of intentional disappearance was incongruent with her mother’s cautious nature, as Karine always informed her children of her whereabouts. This testimony shed light on Karine’s responsible and considerate character.
Apart from her immediate family, Karine had a loving sister and parents who supported her throughout her life. Her sudden death left a major void in her family’s lives, particularly her children.
