Harley Rose missing case has caught the attention of the public after the Escanaba resident, who reportedly was missing, was found dead in the woods in Ford River Township.
Born in Gladstone, Michigan, and currently living in Escanaba, Harley Rose, also known as Harley Corwin, was a Pre-Professional Health at Bay College.
Popular among her friends and family for her funny, unique and free-spirited personality, she was loved by many. The news of her passing has deeply affected her close ones.
The Escanaba girl was reported missing on Friday, July 7, after she failed to pick up her kids, which was unlikely. The police report filed on Friday AM, listed her as ‘voluntarily missing.’
Harley Rose Missing
The Escanaba, Michigan girl, Harly Rose, was seven months pregnant with high-risk pregnancy for herself and the unborn when she went missing.
Rose was last seen on July 4 by her close ones in person. She then reached unavailable on her phone after July 5 and was contactless.
However, suspicion of something wrong arose after she failed to pick up her kids from school on Friday, July 7, which was unlikely for her.
After which, a missing report was filed on Friday morning. The police report listed her as voluntarily missing.
Her missing car was located on Saturday, and her close ones searched the area. Sadly, later that day, her dead body was found.
The sudden and untimely death of her and her unborn child has shaken the family, who had hoped for her return.
Moreover, there is no report on the whereabouts of the victim before her death and what happened between the events before she was killed.
Police investigations are ongoing to discover the whole incident that brought such misery to her family.
Obituary: Escanaba Michigan Girl Harley Rose Found Dead
A body was located by Deputies with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office on July 8, 2023, in the woods in Ford River Township, which was later identified as 22-year-old Harley Rose of Escanaba.
Harley, who had been reported voluntarily missing previously to Escanaba Public Safety, lost her life along with her unborn 7-month son in the incident.
Her widowed mother, Nicole Anderson, gave the unfortunate news in a Facebook Post.
In the post, she wrote, “My sweet baby Harley Rose and her unborn son Jaiden Jayce-Lee have gone to live with the angels.”
Despite the unfortunate incident, her family thanked all for their concern and prayers. Her mother also thanked all involved in her search, including law enforcement authorities.
The family is mourning her loss and has requested some privacy. There are no further details revealed about her funeral service yet.

Additionally, a person who might have had some involvement in the incident was interviewed and subsequently arrested by authorities after a joint investigation.
The suspect is currently lodged in the Delta County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
Besides that, the investigation is being conducted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Office and Escanaba Public Safety to find out the background of the event and collect possible pieces of evidence.
Moreover, the Michigan State Police Crime Lab and Michigan State Police Gladstone PostDelta County Search and Rescue are also assisting in the investigations.
Furthermore, Delta County ME and the Delta County Prosecutor’s Office have been helping with the criminal charges of the suspect.
