Tea Stjärne’s mother, Karin Aurora Ulfsdotter Stjärne Lindström, is a prominent figure in the Swedish entertainment industry. She is a CEO, TV producer, and director of a production company.
Karin began her career in television in 1993 as a scenographer’s assistant at SVT. Over the years, she has worked for various channels.
In 2003, she became the head of Nickelodeon Scandinavia and played a significant role in launching popular shows like SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. Later, she served as an executive producer at TV4, overseeing programs such as Jeopardy!, Finally Home, Talent, and Let’s Dance.

Tea Stjärne’s aunt Hanna Stjärne is a Swedish media manager and journalist who became the CEO of Sveriges Television in September 2014.
