Thea was born in Queens, New York, and has a Puerto Rican descent. During her school years, she was into activities like baseball and swimming.

Vega’s parents got divorced when she was young. But they remained good friends. Thea Megan Trinidad even lost her dad in the 9/11 attacks. He was a telecom operator for a company based at the World Trade Center.

She credits her father as the reason behind her interest in pro-wrestling. Trinidad has also featured in NBC’s ‘Children of 9/11‘. Vega had even worked as a counselor on a camp for children who had lost parents on 9/11.

Apart from that, Thea has also actively been part of many charitable causes in the past. One such notable event is with Habitat for Humanity after  Hurricane Katrina struck.

Zelina Vega husband is none other than Aleister Black. Thea Megan Trinidad married Tom Budgen in 2018. Tom too, is a famous fellow pro-wrestler like Thea herself. He is known by his ring name Aleister Black.

This New York-born diva currently resides in Tampa, Florida, with her husband, Tom Budgen. She had even spoken about her father on the tenth anniversary of 9/11 during TNA‘s No Surrender event.

Trinidad is also a talented actress who has worked in a handful of documentaries and films. Notably, she has worked in films Dorothy and the Witches of Oz, Fighting with My Family, and documentary Children of 9/11.

Career

Thea Megan Trinidad began her career in 2010. She made her debut for the promotion National Wrestling Superstars (NWS). Her ring name at the time was Divina Fly.

In the same year, she also made her debut for  Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) and even competed for  WSU Tag Team Championships. But she lost and wasn’t able to become champions.

The legendary hardcore wrestler Tommy Dreamer discovered her talents. Soon she joined the ranks of TNA and made her debut in 2011.

Here, she performed under the ring name Rosita. She even partnered up with Sarita. Together, they even worked together as a tag-team and tasted success.

She, along with Sarita, even became TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. After huge success, she went inactive for months, and her contract finally expired in 2013.

After that, she wrestled in the Independent Circuit till 2017. During this time, Vega was part of various promotions, including Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre,  Family Wrestling Entertainment (FWE), Global Force Wrestling (GFW),  Ring of Honor (ROH) and  Shine Wrestling.
