Multiple rescue teams converged on the scene, including a water and foam extinguishing vehicle from the Mangalia Section, SMURD B2 Tuzla, an SAJ B crew, an SAJ C crew, and the SMURD helicopter.
Initially believed to involve six victims, it was later confirmed that all six suffered from polytrauma but remained conscious.
The Constanța County Emergency Clinical Hospital and the Mangalia Hospital played pivotal roles in providing immediate medical care, with four victims directed to the former and two to the latter.
This tragic incident also prompted the INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police to halt traffic in both directions on DN39, leading to increased congestion and concern among commuters.

The rescue operation saw five of them transported to the hospital by various emergency vehicles, including the Autospeciala for multiple victims from Mangalia, SAJ and SMURD ambulances.
