Dr. Bhujang Shetty, a senior ophthalmologist and an eye Surgeon specializing in cataract and refractive surgery, passed away late Friday due to a cardiac arrest in Bengaluru.
The surgeon was reportedly working out on a treadmill when he suffered a cardiac arrest and was taken to a private hospital in Yeshwanthpur, where he passed away at around 9: 45 pm.
Dr. Shetty was the Chairperson of Narayana Netralaya, a super specialty eye hospital in Rajajinagar that is committed to providing quality eye care and treatment of eye disorders the patients.
He was committed to providing healthcare facilities, including eye donation, serious treatment, and surgeries to all classes of people.
