Ilayaraja Daughter Death Cause Linked To Illness

Bhavatharini, the legendary music composer Ilayaraja daughter, lost her battle with a long-term illness on January 25. She was receiving medical care in Sri Lanka and was 47 years old.

Bhavatharini reportedly left India for treatment in Sri Lanka, according to a Hindustan Times story.

In Sri Lanka, she was undergoing Ayurvedic treatment. Famous Music director Ilaiyaraaja’s daughter and singer Bhavatharini passed away today.

Bhavatharini, who has reportedly been battling cancer for the last five months, was reportedly receiving Ayurvedic care in Sri Lanka. She died today from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

Her health did not improve despite receiving Ayurvedic therapy for five months, and she sadly died away today at 5:20 PM. Her body is supposed to be sent to Chennai tomorrow.

She was a well-known character in the movie business at the age of 47, lending her voice to several hit songs in more than 30 motion pictures.

Her sudden passing stunned the entertainment industry as a whole.

She was a multi-talented performer who was excellent at playback vocals, acting, and composition.

She worked on several cinema music projects alongside her father and siblings, as she is Ilaiyaraaja’s daughter.

She performed with Ilaiyaraaja in a song from the movie Bharathi, for which she was awarded the National Award for Best Female Playback Singer.

After making her backup singing debut in the movie “Rasayya,” she became well-known because the movie’s song became a huge hit.
