Early Life and Childhood

Very handsome and talented wrestler, John Morrison was born on October 3, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. He joined and completed his high school in his home town in Palos Verdes Peninsula. He got graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 2002.

Career

Before starting his career as a professional wrestler, Morrison had studied both film and geology. As he doesn’t want to pursue either of the paths, he then decided to join the wrestling industry and started to train at Supreme Pro Wrestling School in Sacramento, California.

He was awarded a developmental contract and assigned to their developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW).

Morrison got his first main roster debut under the ring name “Jonny Blaze” and changed his name to “Jonny Nitro” after few weeks. In the debut match on the leading roaster, MNM won the WWE Tag Team Championship from Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio.

Morrison joined SmackDown on April 15, 2009, where he defeated R-Truth on his first SmackDown match. He had his first World Heavyweight Championship Title match against Jeff Hardy, but couldn’t win the title.

But instead, he defeated Rey Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship title. Morrison got into a feud with his former tag team partner, The Miz, and announced as opposing team captains for Survivor Series. At the TLC match, Morrison lost his Intercontinental Championship title to Mclntyre after his 103 days of a title reign.

John Morrison has many close and good friends while wrestling in WWE, i.e., The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Zach Ryder, Jeff Hardy, and Randy Orton. He was on a relationship with the former WWE Diva and on-screen manager Melina Perez from 2003 to 2015.

At the recent, John Morrison got engaged and married with Taya Valkyrie on June 1, 2018.
