Paul Skenes is an American College baseball pitcher for LSU Tigers.
He transferred to Louisiana Stated University on July 28, 2022. He chose to attend LSU because he wanted to work with LSU’s coaching staff and play with LSU’s outstanding players and it will enhance his competitive spirit.
Before Joining LSU Paul was recruited by the US Air Force Academy Baseball team and accepted an appointment as part of “Class of 2024”. He played the 2021 and 2022 seasons at Air Force.
In his first season at the Air Force, Paul was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year and named the winner of the John Olerud Award as the nation’s best two-way player.

Who Are Paul Skenes Parents Craig And Karen Skenes?
Paul David Skenes was born on May 29, 2002, in Fullerton, California as the middle child of father Craig and Mother Karen Skenes.
Paul’s father Craig works for a pharmaceutical company. According to his LinkedIn profile, Craig is vice president of Business Development at Aerie Pharmaceuticals for more than nine years.
Craig is in the pharmaceuticals business since 2004; he started his profession as the Director of ISTA Pharmaceuticals. Then, he joined Santen Incorporated as Senior Director and worked there till 2014.
Paul’s father graduated with a Bachelor of Science – Biochemistry at California State University and studied for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance and general.
Compared to the information about Paul’s father there are not many details regarding his mother. Karen is a stay-at-home mom who dears her children more than anything in the world. Paul’s Uncles Mike and Pete served in the Navy, and his uncle Dan served as a teacher at the Coast Guard Academy. Since his childhood he had seen how the Academy is and how the military has influenced their life.
As a teenager, he wanted to do some cool stuff with the military, and he thought it would be a cool career choice in life. However, a person’s liking and priorities change with time and age. Maybe his change in preference and goal made him transfer from Air Force to LSU.
