Ran Takahashi is a Japanese male volleyball player born September 2, 2001.

He is an Olympian and an Outside Hitter for Nippon Sport Science University’s club, Japan men’s national volleyball team, and Pallavolo Padova.

After graduating from high school, Ran entered Nippon Sport Science University, where he led the team to the runner-up place in the 2020 All Japan Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship and received the Best Scorer award from the competition.

In 2021, he was one of the Outside Hitters for the Japan men’s national volleyball team in the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Ran later joined Pallavolo Padova in the Italian Volleyball League Division 1. He debuted in the highest Italian league on December 19, 2021, as a substitute in the third set against Modena Volley.

Pallavolo Padova announced that Ran had renewed his contract with the club for the 2022-2023 season.

Ran Takahashi Sister Riri Takahashi plays for the Kyoto Ryōyō High School female volleyball club, where she has had a successful career.

In 2021, Ran Takahashi Sister helped lead her team to the 2021 All Japan High School Volleyball Championship semifinals, where Higashi Kyushu Ryukoku High School, unfortunately, defeated them.

Rui Takahashi, Ran Takahashi’s brother, is also a volleyball player who has competed at various levels. Rui was born on February 11, 2000, one and a half years older than Ran.

Rui, similarly to his younger brother, began playing volleyball at a young age.

He was the captain of Higashiyama High School’s basketball squad in his third year. He was a team member that won the Inter-High School Sports Festival in 2017.

After graduating high school, Rui entered Nippon Sports Science University, where he played for the volleyball club.

He soon became a significant team member and was eventually chosen captain.

Rui helped guide the Nippon Sports Science University volleyball team to the All-Japan Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship final in 2021, where they finished runners-up.

He was also named the Best Server of the tournament. In addition to his volleyball career, Rui is also an avid photographer.

He has been interested in photography since high school and has continued to pursue it as a hobby.

He often shares his photos on his social media accounts, and some of his work has been featured in exhibitions.

Ran Takahashi was born and reared in Japan, and his family is ethnically Japanese. His father and mother’s identities have not been made public.
