This marked the beginning of his extensive contributions to the spiritual community. Later, he merged Mount Calvary Holy Church #1 with the Christ is the Answer Church, led by Rev.

Alfred Owens, resulting in the formation of Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church in Washington D.C. This church, which burgeoned to over 4,000 members, also served as the national headquarters for Mt. Calvary Holy Churches of America, Inc.

In 1958, Bishop Williams co-founded the Mount Calvary Holy Temple in Baltimore, Maryland, alongside his mother, Ethel Williams, and his first wife, Amanda Williams.
