Sophie Fawns parents have remained an enigma with their names causing curiosity that has awakened the interest of all.
Sophie Fawns is a professional netball player, currently playing for the New South Wales Swifts 2023 game as a Goal attacker and shooter.
Through her passion and determination, Sophie has excelled in building a promising future in netball which has made her an inspiration for aspiring athletes.
Likewise, being chosen in NSW 17 and Under State Team in 2019, She has played almost 12 games till now.

Sophie Fawns Parents: Father Greg And Mother
Behind every celebrated athlete lies a story of support, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication from their parents.
In the case of Sophie Fawns, the influence of her parents, mother Maureen and father Greg is essential for the beginning of her pivotal career.
Throughout her journey in NSW, Sophie has been very vocal about her parents and their support. She is open about her mother’s death and how she coped with the grief.
Sophie’s mom, Maureen, died battelling ovarian cancer in November 2021. Her father used to work overseas but later permanently shifted to Wanga after her mother’s death.
Despite being so busy with games, Sophie still managed to be close to her mom. But, her family foundations were shaken as they discovered the cancer had spread throughout her mother’s body.
Though doctors suggested a different treatment, the chances being slim, Maureen wanted to not proceed further with her treatment and enjoy the limited time she had left with her family.
But the COVID-19 pandemic further complicated Maureen’s illness. During this critical time, Sophie used to stay in Sydney and was unable to be with her mother.
Tragically, Maureen passed away in 2021, when Fawns had her Higher School Certificate Exams.
It was an incredibly challenging period for Sophie, who had planned to join the netball preseason immediately after completing exams.
However, she couldn’t finish her HSC as losing her mother amid her exams was undoubtedly a heavy burden for Sophie.
Sophie Fawns Family Details: Three Sisters
The rising star of Australian netball, Sophie Fawns, is very active on social media sharing the whereabouts of her family with her fans.
Growing up Sophie had three biological sisters, Christina, Olivia, and Katie.
Her two older sisters live in Canberra, while her younger sister resides in Wanga with her dad. Like Sophie, her sisters have not kept their social media handles public.
Despite losing her mother at such a young age, her sisters have ensured that she never feels the weight of sorrow alone.
Their unwavering support has been a constant source of comfort, particularly when she resides in Sydney away from home for her netball career.
She has admitted that she finds herself lucky that her family comes to watch her every game. Her dad himself has traveled to be present in her games, except for one in Perth.
Nevertheless, Sophie is incredibly grateful for the guidance and encouragement her father and sisters have provided and also for their constant reminder that she is never alone in her journey.
And whenever possible, she has never hesitated to show her love and deep appreciation for her family.
Though she misses her mother who has always supported her to achieve her dreams, she takes solace in believing that her mother is always there to guide and inspire her.
