Early Life and Childhood

Black learned various martial arts such as kickboxing and Maan Karate during his childhood, which he implements on his wrestling matches, which every audience loves to watch.

He has also faced freestyle fighting and won FCW Deutschland Lightweight Championship at his early age. Until now, kickboxing has become his primary skill in battle, where he mostly uses his legs during the fight to win the match.

Aleister Black won multiple titles during his wrestling career before signing to WWE, such as wXw Unified World Heavyweight Championship,wXw World Light Heavyweight Champion, wXw World Tag Team Champion, ICW Tag Team Champion, Progress Tag Team Champion and became a successful wrestler in his short career span.


Black signed to WWE in June 2016 as an NXT member, where he defeated Lince Dorado on his debut match. He gained his world-famous ring name, “Aleister Black,” on NXT. Black appeared at the WWE UK Championship Tournament finals, where he loses to Neville in a non-tournament match.

On December 13, Black defeating Adam Cole became the number one contender for the NXT Championship match at fatal-four-way. Wrestlers involved in this match were Johnny Gargano, Killian Dain, Lars Sullivan, and Aleister Black, where Gargano won by pinning Black.

Black once said that he had a devil on his back, which was the NXT Championship title. He got a chance to win the title against Andrade Almas at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans and finally held the NXT Championship title.

On July 18, Black lost the NXT title to Tommaso Ciampa after the interference of Johnny Gargano. He then targeted to attack Gargano for failing his title on Gargano’s intervention. On August 8, Black and Gargano faced each other for the same cause.

Black made his Raw debut on February 18, 2019, defeating Elias. He became unstoppable and kept increasing his winning strikes defeating Andrade. Black teamed up with Ricochet and entered NXT’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They lost against the team of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

Aleister Black then got separated from Ricochet and awaited for a challenger and got Cesaro as an opponent. He defeated Cesaro at the Extreme Rules and got victorious.
