Jeffrey Nero Hardy is a Professional American Wrestler who is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment and whom we have popularly known as Jeff Hardy.

Jeff is more than an only professional wrestler; he is a great painter, singer-songwriter, musician, and author.

Hardy has played on several big wrestling industries like Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Ring of Honor (ROH), etc.

He has won many successful championships in his wrestling career like WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, etc.

Early Life and Childhood

Jeff Hardy, the son of Gilbert and Ruby Moore Hardy, was born on August 31, 1977, in Cameron, North Carolina, United States.

Jeff is the younger brother of professional wrestler Matt Hardy who wrestles together as The Hardy Boyz. Hardy’s mother passed away because of brain cancer when he was nine.

Jeff was interested in motocross and got his first bike at 13. He also played baseball, football during his childhood. He instead chose to become a professional wrestler as he was ordered to pick between football and wrestling.

Career

Hardy Boyz, along with Jeff and Matt hardy, started their wrestling federation “Trampoline Wrestling Federation (TWF)” where they mimick the moves shown on television.

They worked on several different companies all over the East Coast of the United States like ACW and others.

They again formed another wrestling promotion called “Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA),” which was more successful than their TWF. This promotion included Shannon Moore, Gregory Helms, Steve Corino, Joey Matthews, etc.

WWF/WWE

Hardy brother signed the WWF contract after folding their OMEGA promotion in April 1998. Initially, on WWF, he worked as a jobber who intentionally loses the match so that his opponents look stronger.

He had his debut match against Razor Ramon in Youngstown, Ohio. Dory Funk Jr. professionally trained both the brothers with other superstars like Kurt Angle, Christian, Test, etc.

Jeff and Matt formed Hardy Boyz and wrestled as a tag team partners. Hardy Boyz won their first every WWF Tag Team Championship defeating the Acolytes on July 5.

Jeff Hardy was good at his high flying skills and got named as one of the most reckless and unorthodox WWF wrestlers of the time.

He was successful in winning many big titles like Intercontinental, Light Heavyweight, and Hardcore Championship.

Jeff Hardy has a significant interest in body tattoo and face painting that he usually does during his match. Hardy has done many inks throughout his body.

He is an artist and design tattoo and paints for his own body. He is a loyal friend with Shannon Moore, Marty Garner, Jason Arhndt, and John Morrison.

Jeff is happily married with his girlfriend Beth Britt and hos two-child, Rudy Claire Hardy and Nera Quinn Hardy.
