Such an influencing Singaporean personality died on 15 November 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey, at the age of fifty-six following a road accident.

Joseph Chean was married to his beloved wife, Kim Chean, for more than a decade. Similarly, he was blessed with two gorgeous daughters, Ashley and Olivia Chean.
