Early Life of Booker T

Robert was one of the eight siblings and the youngest of all. He was born on March 1, 1965, in Plain Dealing, Louisiana. Both of the parents died at the age of 13, and he lived with his sister and brother.

During high school, he used to play football and basketball. He spent the nineteenth month of his life inside the prison with the crimes to armed robberies at Wendy’s restaurants in Houston. After the prison life, he was placed on parole until the age of 27.

They again won the WCW World Tag Team title defeating Dick Slater and Bunkhouse Buck at Fall Brawl 1995. Harlem Heat was the undisputed tag team of WCW winning the title for the seventh time.

In March  2001, WCW was bought by World Wrestling Federation, and Booker T had his WWF debut match attacking WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin at the King of the Ring. During the time, Booker T was the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, which he lost later to Kurt Angle.

Also, after shifting to WWF, he continued to win the WCW World Tag Team Championship and made it to eleventh time with his partner Test. They even won the WWF Tag Team Championship title. Booker had his first WrestleMania match against Edge at WrestleMania XVIII.

After winning the King of the Ring tournament of 2006, he began to name him as King Booker T. He won several other championship titles during the reign on WWE. King Booker T won WWE World Heavyweight Championship, defeating Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero.

Booker T has married twice yet, where his first wife was Levestia, and the second wife was Sharmell Sullivan. He got married to Levestia on May 23, 1996, and lasted for five years before they got divorced on May 8, 2001.

Robert had a relationship during his high school girlfriend with whom he even has a son named Brandon. Booker T then married with his another girlfriend, Sharmell Sullivan, in February 2005.
