TMZ reported in April 2015, one year before Lana died, that Randy’s pal, James Newton, had filed legal filings alleging that Lana was mistreating Randy.

Randy responded by saying Newton was not a close buddy and that he was “doing great.”

Randy was placed under court-ordered supervision after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, according to the Daily News in July 2015.

She died at their Studio City, California, home after being married for 20 years.

Lana Rae Meisner died on March 6, 2016, after being fatally shot in the head.

Randy phoned the police following the incident at about 7 pm, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to an ABC News report, “When cops arrived, they discovered Mrs. Meisner suffering from a single gunshot wound.”

Lana’s death was ruled a self-inflicted accident following an investigation.

“It was decided that Mrs. Meisner’s death was accidental after a comprehensive examination by Valley Bureau investigative staff and the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office,” the report stated.

“Mrs. Meisner was relocating a gun placed in a closet cabinet. As she took the gun from the case, another object shifted and touched the rifle’s trigger, causing it to discharge and killing Mrs. Meisner.

“Mr. Meisner was cooperative throughout the investigation,” they added.

This occurred only two hours after the police had visited their residence in response to “a radio report of a woman requesting police help for a presumably inebriated male suspect.”

Cops arrived on the scene, took a domestic violence incident report, and then drove away.
